Specially engineered fiberglass door facings provide maximum protection and durability. The deep wood-grain texture yields a very realistic wood-like appearance and provides for easy finishing. Barrington will not dent and resists splitting, cracking and warping
Glazing frames have been specifically designed to match the panel moulding in both profile design and width.
Emulating hand-crafted hardwood doors, distinctive raised moulding is standard on all Barrington® Oak & Mahogany doors. The moulding is integrated into the door facing all as one piece. Therefore, the moulding will not separate from the door as with some competitive plant-on appliques.
Barrington® features a stunning, proprietary collection of Specialty™ decorative glass. Unlike typical fiberglass doors with glass inserts, Barrington doors are factory-glazed with customized glazing components to yield wider glass, narrower stiles & rails and authentic hardwood door aesthetics.
Hinge and lock stiles feature laminated lumber providing excellent dimensional stability.
The square-edge design of Barrington® offers an attractive wood door appearance and permits easy field machining.
Lock area is reinforced to provide a solid mounting surface for decorative hardware.
A high-performance, composite material is utilized on all Barrington® bottom rails, providing excellent rot-resistance.
Most residential exterior doors swing to the inside. In that case it is an inswing door. To determine correct swing please look at pictures below

Brickmoulding is used as decorative trim around the exterior of the door unit and where it meets the edge of brick.
Shipped loose on all square top units. All round top units come with brickmould attached to frame.
Standard size is 1-1/4″ x 2″.
All our doors are pre-hung on primed or wood rabbeted jambs. The frame width must fit the exterior wall thickness.

All doors come with standard single bore preparation (2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″ backset).
If the door requires a separate deadbolt lock, than the door must be additionally bored at 5-1/2″ above to accommodate handle and deadbolt.
Each door unit comes with full frames and doors panels to resist the elements and regular usage.
